Teleurstellend. Uiterlijke uitvoering is eigenlijk niks op aan te merken (goose-neck, krulsnoer, 'lederen' bekleding van de oren), playback klank is niet al te slecht, maar output van de mic is laag, met opgepepte gain enorme ruis. Bovendien lijkt de aarding niet goed; de brom verdwijnt door vasthouden van het metaal. Kortom: jammer, want het was een charmant extraatje in de studio voor talk-back, maar dit is niks.

Quite disappointing even at this price!
The round headphones are not comfortable for lengthy use (90 minutes of football?). But the biggest issue is the 48v phantom powering.
A standard 48v phantom power seems too much for these microphone capsules. I think these have been developed by Behringer for USB computer soundcard applications and not audio mixer applications. Tried contacting Behringer/Music Tribe for advice - but nothing.
I have converted them to 3.5mm jack and put them through a RODE VXLR converter that drops the phantom power down to 5v "plug-in power" - and they work really well!
So even at BAX's great price, if you are looking for sports commentary headsets to work with a standard mixer, buy something else.

Als sint kado gekregen. Maar ding ruist als een gek. Rechtstreeks via mengpaneel incl +48v RUIS. Via 286 RUIS. Via fetthead incl +48 RUIS. ben ik niet gewend van bax. Zie nu ook net dat 60 dgn niet goed. Geld terug 30 dgn is geworden.

Wordt gebruikt voor mijn HF zenders, via een preamp met 48V fantoomvoeding. Microfoon werkt zeer goed, het koptelefoon gedeelte is perfect voor broadcast, heel scherp. Voor HIFI is de kwaliteit onvoldoende; veel te weinig bassen. In elk geval voor deze lage prijs gewoon uitstekend voor mijn toepassing. De handleiding mocht wel vermelden dat je fantoomspanning nodig hebt voor de micro.

Gebruik deze via mixer voor mijn HF zenders. Doet het super kwa microfoon maar ook de audio. Zeker een aanrader voor de radioamateurs IPV de veel duurdere die ze speciaal verkopen voor zenders

Mooie koptelefoon, aangeschaft om via de laptop te kunnen videobellen. Echter de microfoon heeft een xlr 3 pins aansluiting die natuurlijk niet op een laptop zit, dus helaas ook nog een speciale xlr>3,5mm. verloopkabel moeten kopen. Bij het spreken nog wel aardig wat ruis op de lijn....

Zonder meer een prima product voor z'n prijs. En de service van Bax blijft van hoog niveau.

Alleen: de documentatie is niet compleet. Er zit een condensatormicrofoontje in dat 48V phantom power nodig heeft. En volgens mij staat dat nergens!

Vanwege het corona virus direct overgestapt op online drumlessen, dus deze headset aangeschaft. Top product, makkelijk, en handig. Werkt goed, klinkt goed, niks op aan te merken. En, wederom een snelle levering door Bax-shop. Top!
