Ik gokte op deze om een lichte koptelefoon bij me te hebben voor onderweg. Hij bevalt zeer goed!

Hij is zeer licht en comfortabel, en de geluidskwaliteit is boven verwachting—daar mijn verwachting was dat het wat dun en blikkerig zou klinken gezien de geringe omvang van de speakers. Er zit flink wat bas en power in, al gaat dat wel ten koste van detail in de highs. Voor veel mensen is de extra bas een plus, maar ik houd van wat meer gebalanceerde geluid.

Maar goed. Alsnog zeer aan te raden.

Brilliant concept and great quality from AIAIAI, but slightly disappointed with the result. So, to make things clear for future buyers: this is a unique product, it looks like the walkman headphones we had in the 90s, extremely small, light and comfortable BUT with a much better sound. Although I was impressed by the sound, it's still not comparable with proper size on-ear or over-ear headphones. Obviously because the speakers are much smaller, they can't reproduce the same way all the frequencies. Still a step higher than your average in-ears though. They have an open-back design, which means that you can hear your surrounding sounds, making it a safe way to bike. Talking about biking, these headphones have a serious issue, since the wind is whistling through the headband! I wouldn't recommend it! It's a funny thing that happens, and I cannot find a way around it. I already contacted the company, didn't get a reply so far. It's a Danish company, which means they should have thought about it, biking is as normal in Denmark as it is in NL. Anyway, like I said in the beginning, great concept and useful product if you wanna upgrade from terrible in-ears and you want something really small and light. Otherwise go get yourself a proper on-ear/over-ear.

Ook al is het geen over the ear hoofdtelefoon, ik vind het geluid echt goed genoeg. Fijne bass!

De laatste jaren was ik gewend om muziek te beluisteren met de standaardoordopjes die bij mijn telefoons (Blackberry's en Sony Experia's) werden geleverd. En ik wist wel wát ik miste, want daarvoor heb ik ook 2 Sony V 600's gehad, maar ik heb me er daarna nooit meer toe kunnen zetten om weer een 'echte' hoofdtelefoon aan te schaffen, voor voornamelijk gebruik onderweg.

Dit is echt een mooi betaalbaar alternatief. Onopvallend, basic, tijdloos model. Geinspireerd op die oude walkmanhoofdtelefoons, maar zónder die oorpijntjes na (te) lang dragen.
(Ben benieuwd hoe lang die oorkussentjes zo goed blijven aanvoelen.)

Van dit model zou ik wel een paar reserve exemplaren willen hebben.

AIAIAI Tracks Black headset nero

AIAIAI, wat is dat een goede fabrikant! Hoe het design en de uitstekende geluidskwaliteit samen komen, is kwa headphones vrij uniek tegenwoordig. Ik ben opzoek gegaan naar een vervanger voor mijn aiaiai tma-1 omdat ik deze naast het draaien ook voor onderweg naar mijn werk gebruikte. Deze is toen helaas gesneuvelt in mijn tas (slordigheid). Na lang zoeken kwam ik op dit koptelefoontje uit.

Het design is heel eenvoudig en lijkt heel kwetsbaar. Dit is niet het geval. De hoofdband is van een vrij buigzaam stuk ijzer en buigt mee om de klappen op te vangen, maar niet genoeg om te vervormen.

Het geluid wat de ogenschijnlijk kleine oordoppen maken zijn fenomenaal. Het toonbereik is vele malen breder dan ik verwacht had, en er zit ook een kleine punch in de lage tonen. Zéker vergelijkbaar met de tma-1.

Ik had in mijn achterhoofd hem te gebruiken voor in de trein naar mijn werk en als ik over straat zou gaan. Omdat het open headphones zijn, sluit hij dus helaas niet heel goed over je oren. Dit gaf het probleem dat ik in de trein het volume nauwelijks harder kon zetten dan fluisterstand, en zelfs toen kreeg ik vrij boze blikken. Ik kon de headphones dus helaas niet gebruiken waar ik hem voor had aangeschaft.

de +'s zijn de bouwkwaliteit, design en de uitzonderlijke kwaliteit van het geluid.

het - puntje is dus helaas dat hij in openbare ruimtes naar mijn idee te luid is.
