The renewed Rumble series is one giant leap for Fender on the bass guitar amplifier front. Its models were bestowed with new looks, an incredibly light weight and a more powerful, deeper voice. The Fender Fender Rumble 500 Head is one of the most powerful members of the family, providing 500 Watts for one or two speaker cabinets. It is equipped with several inputs and outputs such as a Send/Return for your effects loop, a headphone output, a 3.5mm aux input (for connecting a smartphone, for instance) and an XLR output, to connect the Rumble directly to a mixer.

From Clean to Overdrive with the Rumble 500 Head

The Fender Rumble 500 Head swings both ways. You can effortlessly go from clean and pure to grainy and distorted thanks to the renewed overdrive circuit with Drive and Level controls. Additionally, this amp has a foot switch input on the back so you can easily turn the overdrive on or off with the optional foot switch. What's more, you can use the three voicing switches (Vintage, Contour and Bright) to choose the timbre that is best suited for your musical style. The punchy Contour, for instance, is perfect for slapping techniques. The 4-band EQ, finally, is an essential feature to adjust the tone of your bass guitar.
