Descrizione

The Onyx 15SA-sub by Devine is an affordable, powerful 600 Watt subwoofer that's highly versatile. Link it to a second sub or a full-range speaker, and adjust your sound to perfection with ease! The Devine Onyx 15SA is equipped with a 15-inch woofer, driven by a Class-D amp and boasting an RMS capacity of 600 Watts and a peak of 2,400 Watts. Under the bonnet, the speaker is protected against overheating and overloading, ensuring this sub will last a long time. For mounting satellite speakers, the 15SA has a standard M20 distance rod flange.

The Devine Onyx 8

The Onyx 8 is a passive satellite speaker from Devine's Onyx Series. Not too small and not too big, it's loaded with an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver that can handle 100 Watts of RMS power with peaks of up to 400 Watts. The frequency range of 61 Hz to 19 kHz is quite impressive as well and, thanks to its detailed audio, this speaker guarantees satisfying sound. While the Onyx 8 is a great solution for pubs, small clubs, restaurants and shops since it can be easily wall-mounted and features a 35mm stand flange, it's actually just as perfect for mobile use due to its relatively low weight of 7.4kg.

The plastic part falls out too easily when the top pole is pulled out rendering the fastener unable to tighten. Simple design fault, but they are cheap.

I was admittedly skeptical about these, given how inexpensive they are. But I wanted some small speakers I could mount on the walls of my studio space for when I was rehearsing with my band. I had my full 1600w PA set up in there, but it was taking up too much room (plus the hassle of having to constantly take it down and set it up whenever there are gigs on), so downsizing to 4 100w speakers, and I was unsure.

I've been powering them on a 1600w powered mixer, and I've been cranking the volume up, and up, and up. I am actually quite astounded by how much punch these things have. 10 years ago, a 100w speaker at this price would have just been killed immediately with the amount of power I've been putting through these.

Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking a nice small speaker that looks good and sounds better. For installations in a pub or a restaurant, with 4 or more of these, they would also be fantastic.

With a bit of juice pumped into these, there is a proper thump from the bass frequencies. I thought a subwoofer was most definitely going to be required for any kind of bass, but I was very wrong there.

Stevige en nette tussenlpaal. Dankzij schroefdraad goed te bevestigen.Trilt wel mee bij hard volume.
