The Novation Launchkey 49 is a multi-functional MIDI keyboard. It provides you with enough space to play your parts, yet the keyboard is still rather compact for easy transport. In addition to the 49 keys, the keyboard is also equipped with 16 touch-sensitive trigger pads. You can use these to quickly start drum samples, loops and sound effects in your software.

Control software with the Launchkey 49
The Launchkey 49 operates smoothly with Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Reason, Cubase, FL Studio and Logic. You can assign 8 rotary knobs and 9 faders to the preferred functions in your sequencer. This makes editing sounds and mixing tracks easier. The keyboard is also equipped with practical octave and playing buttons, a pitch wheel and a modulation wheel.

If you are new to the world of music production, you might want to use the Launchkey in combination with the accessory Ableton Live Lite software. With this software you can also use the V-Station and the Bass Station plug-ins for creating synth sounds. Other additional features are the 1 GB large Loopmasters sample pack and two practical iPad apps: Launchkey and Launchpad.
