The professional 76-KT Class-A compressor by Klark Teknik is a 19-inch rack unit that offers a wide selection of compression ratios and ultra-fast adjustable attack and release times. It has a vintage-style VU meter that shows the output's Gain Reduction visually, which you can adjust to have zero on the VU meter correspond with an output level of +4, +6 or +8 dBm. Set the compressor ratio by hand with the push of a button.

Classic FET-Style Compression

The 76-KT offers you a choice of four different compression ratios: 4:1 (Moderate Compression), 8:1 (Severe Compression), 12:1 (Mild Limiting), and 20:1 (Hard Limiting). You can set the compressor to or more of these ratios. When you use the All Button functionality, this is effective for drums, bass, guitar, room mics, or aggressive vocals. You can set the Attack and Release time, which is the amount of time it takes for the compressor to react to the input that goes over the threshold, as well as the desired input and output levels on the front panel.
