You attach this Meinl Bass Drum Mounted Pad more or less like you would attach a cowbell to your bass drum! What's the point of having a practice pad on your drum kit? Well, suppose, for example, you have a soundcheck and have to start the show right after - without being able to warm up backstage - this pad allows you to play your hands loose and warm, while also being immediately available for the linecheck! This bass drum-mounted practice pad features Meinl's "marshmallow" material, making the pad quiet and also requiring you to use your muscles right away. With its very compact 4-inch size, it won't get in the way while playing.
