The JBL LSR305 is an active studio monitor with modest amplifiers for the high and low frequencies. This makes it a very efficient monitor that boasts impressive lows and sparkling highs. The tweeter is mounted in an Image Control Waveguide, which ensures the audio sounds as natural and as accurate as possible. The Waveguide was originally developed for JBL's M2 reference monitors, and has now been incorporated in this more budget-friendly version. In terms of design, the LSR305 is as attractive as it is functional, and will look right at home in any studio.

The bass reflex port on the rear of this monitor was designed especially to produce a deep bass response when combined with the woofer and is capable of creating a reliable reproduction of the low frequencies at any volume level. The LSR305 is equipped with a 5-inch woofer for the lows and a 1-inch tweeter for the highs. On the rear, you'll find a balanced XLR and a jack connection so you can connect it to just about any external source. The input sensitivity switch allows you to connect devices with a high or low gain without causing any damage to the speaker.
