The PR:O 15 XD is a large, versatile active 15-inch speaker that can be used as a satellite, a full-range speaker or a floor monitor. It's from HK Audio's new D series that forms part of the PREMIUM PR:O series. The fact that it can be used as a floor monitor is what separates it from the 15 D model. It delivers a pure and powerful sound, even at high volumes, that'll reach your entire audience effortlessly. That's down to a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 130 dB and a sound dispersion of 90 degrees.
1200 watts of pure sound
The PR:O name will already be familiar to many. That's because this series of speakers are used by many entertainers, DJs and musicians. They choose them because of the robust design and a high degree of transparency for the most accurate sound representation. Speakers in the D series use the latest DSP driven, extremely efficient, 1200-watt class D amplifiers. These produce a powerful yet balanced sound with strong bass. They are made using the latest production techniques which means that they are keenly priced too.

Ha scritto quanto segue su HK Audio Premium PR:O 15 XD cassa attiva
Nog een leuke bijkomstigheid. Er liep net een actie op B stock producten, waarbij er nog wat extra afging van de prijs (5% op het 1ste item, 10% op het 2e item). Ik had de twee bestellingen echter afzonderlijk gedaan, maar na een mailtje met de altijd vriendelijke en snelle helpdesk, mocht ik toch nog genieten van de extra korting. Zeg nou zelf, in welke shop kan je genieten van zo'n service?
Hoe de speakers klinken, dat weet ik nog niet, maar ik ga er vanuit dat ze zeer goed zijn, voortgaande op andere reviews en op de bekendheid van het merk HK. Ik heb ze thuis even aangesloten om te testen, maar erg luid kan ik ze natuurlijk niet zetten , teneinde mijn buren niet tegen me in het harnas te jagen ;)
