Descrizione

Two small woofers instead of one large one: it sounds like a compromise, but with the dBTechnologies OPERA NONA 210, it is actually at the heart of the design. According to dBTechnologies, the two 10-inch woofers together offer 39 per cent more radiating surface area than a single 12-inch woofer, whilst the cabinet remains compact. Above them sits a coaxial mid/high-frequency driver, making it seem as though the sound is coming from a single point and ensuring the sound remains equally coherent from every listening position. A 1000 W RMS Class D amplifier and a DSP with linear-phase FIR filters deliver up to 131.5 dB. This gives you a speaker that can fill a hall just as easily as it can support a singer on stage.

One cabinet, many functions with the dBTechnologies OPERA NONA 210

The OPERA NONA 210 is built to switch roles. Mounted on a stand or atop a subwoofer, it serves as a main PA system; laid on its side, it becomes a floor monitor with two tilt angles; and with three M10 points for eye bolts or the WB-NONA wall bracket, it can be mounted in a venue or pub. Use the rotary knob to choose from eight DSP presets, including Club, Vocal and Bass Boost, plus two presets specially tuned for wedge use. Three built-in handles make carrying and setting it up a lot easier.

Connecting to the dBTechnologies OPERA NONA 210

On the rear panel, you’ll find two balanced combo inputs, each with its own volume control. Channel 1 accepts a microphone or line signal, whilst channel 2 accepts a line signal or an instrument, so a singer with an acoustic guitar can connect directly without a mixing desk. Via the XLR output, you can loop Channel 1 through to the next speaker, or send the mix of both channels. A ground lift switch helps prevent hum, and the LEDs show at a glance whether a signal is present and whether the limiter is engaged.
