When it comes to compact speakers, dB Technologies is many people's go-to brand. It's no wonder either when you take a look at a product like the K300, which proves that bigger isn't always better. This mighty speaker gets its power from the Digipro digital bi-amplifier, which provides 80 watts plus 40 watts RMS. The power is sent on to two 6.5-inch woofers and a 1-inch driver, which provide the K 300 with a maximum sound pressure of 118 dB. This level of performance is already impressive, and when you add to the a frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz, you know you're getting a great deal.

All of these characteristics combine to make this dB Technologies speaker very well suited for background music and speech - your voice has never sounded as clear as it will coming out of this speaker!

Ha scritto quanto segue su DB Technologies K 300 cassa attiva

Ik heb twee van deze speakers al een jaar of 6. Gebruik ze als een soort tweede DJ set, perfect voor bruiloft ceremonies, bedrijfpresentaties of voor DJ monitor. Ik heb ze op een 35 mm adapter maar leg ze ook vaak op de grond. Je moet niet een enorme bass eruit verwachten, maar zelfs voor binnenfeestjes zijn deze prima geschikt. Ik combineer ze vaak met de DB Technologies 28D subwoofer. En dan heb je met setje van 30kg echt een heel leuke sound.

Ha scritto quanto segue su DB Technologies K 300 cassa attiva

I purchased these speakers to use them for small DJ gigs (garden, small parties inside). These speakers really didn't live up to my expectations. The sound is rather flat, lots of highs, the mediums are also not so good but what is missing the most is some decent bass.
I tried to hook it up with a B&W subwoofer but even with that the sound was not so good.

Also for listening to music you can only turn the speaker volume up to max 1/2 of their power. Already at this point you feel the sound starts to deteriorate.

My conclusion:
+ portability, 5kg each;
+ power for non dj use, if do not need bass these speakers go really loud for their size (ie singing or guitar playing);
+ Price: quite cheap for active speakers with 300w power

- not made for DJing or listening to music at high volume
- sounds lack of bass
- manufacturer does not provide the carrying handle (!)
