Ideally, you want your recordings to be as dry as possible which makes it easier to edit them afterwards. One way of getting 'drier' recordings is to use a reflection filter that helps to prevent any unwanted acoustics from being picked up in the signal being recorded. SE Electronics' IRF2 is a reflection filter designed especially for instruments and can be used on stage as well as in the studio.

The IRF2 features the same patented technology as its larger siblings and is constructed of 3 layers of polyester fiberboard surrounded by a punched aluminium wall. These layers ensure excellent sound isolation so that the microphone picks up the purest signal possible without any unwanted external noise.
