This is the educational version and is available to students and teachers only. During registration, certain documents will be requested as proof of studentship. See Tips for further details.

There's no better way to get to grips with a DAW like Ableton Live than under the capable guidance of a great teacher. For serious students on a tight budget, Ableton generously offer up this educational version of Live 10 Standard, so you can get all the same streamlined functionality at more considerate price. This very special version is also available to teachers and offers everything you would get with the full and full-price version. Product registration and verification of your educational status with Ableton themselves will be required.

You are eligible to buy this educational version only if you:

are currently registered as a full-time student (secondary school students included)
are a part-time student (more than 20 hours per week)
are taking an Ableton Live class (not including weekend seminars)
are a teacher working at a school or other educational establishment. Part-time and private teachers need to be teaching for at least 20 hours a week to qualify.

Eligibility will be checked during Ableton's registration process. Without sufficient proof (e.g. a valid student card) the software cannot be unlocked.
