The Takamine EF341SC is one of Bruce Springsteen's favourite guitar models. This left-handed, electro-acoustic has a beautiful black, high-gloss finish and a full, rich sound that is perfect for acoustic sessions. It has a cutaway that gives you access to the higher frets for when you want to rock a solo. It even comes with a case so that you can get it safely from A to B.

EF341SC-LH: body and neck

The solid cedar top gives this electro-acoustic guitar the ability to produce sweet, mild tones as well as powerful-sounding chords. The sides and back are made of maple and add plenty of brightness and sparkle to the overall sound. A dovetail joint connects the body to the mahogany neck. The string nut and bridge saddles are both made of bone, which add excellent intonation and tuning stability.

Pickup and preamp

The Takamine EF341SC-LH produces a wonderful acoustic sound that is just as good when amplified. That's down to the Palathetic pickup, which is well known for its remarkably natural and accurate amplification even at higher volumes. The CT4B II preamplifier also plays a part in the wonderful acoustic sound and gives you a built-in tuner, a 3-band EQ and a volume control.
