Descrizione

The electro-acoustic Cordoba 55FCE Negra Ziricote thinline flamenco guitar has been built by hand in Spain using purely traditional methods and bears the stunningly unique grain and warm, full tone of a ziricote wood body. This has been contrasted with a rosewood bridge; matching binding; a dark ebony fretboard, and a light and solid European spruce soundboard to finish a superb and professional instrument complete with Cordoba Premium Gold machines heads with black tuning buttons.

Crafted for the Stage

The detailed construction of this model begins with the Spanish cedar neck, around which the body has been built rather than the other way around, resulting in excellent stability and shaping tonal clarity, rich sustain, and strong projection, especially in the mid registers. The body depth has been slimmed down to counter feedback when this guitar is amplified via the integrated Fishman Prefix Pro Blend preamp that combines the sound of an undersaddle piezo pickup and an internal microphone. Balance the two using the sliding switch and tweak the output using the volume and tone pots of the control panel to craft the perfect on-stage sound.
