Descrizione

Pearl have been making their Session series drums for decades. The Session Studio Select series features drums that made of 6 plies of birch and mahogany and are just 5.4 mm thick. That gives them warm, full, punchy, powerful tones for the legendary Session sound. The STS904XP/C103 4-piece shell set consists of a 20 x 14-inch bass drum, 10 x 7-inch and 12 x 8-inch toms and a 14 x 14-inch floor tom that all have a Piano Black finish. Please note that a snare drum, cymbals and stands are not included.

Modern features

The sound may well be classic, but the rest of the set is bang up to date and many of its features have been taken from the flagship Masterworks series. The 60 degree bearing edges, for example, ensure a sound with more focus and extra punch. Robust 2.3 mm SuperHoop II hoops are included as are drumheads by Remo. The OptiMount mounting system and the Master floor tom feet ensure excellent resonance as well.
