Descrizione

At a considerately attainable price, Squire serve up a bass with a traditional core enhanced by modern finishes. From the snug and supple feeling of the satin-gloss finish of the thinner, C-profile maple neck to the flatter 12-inch fretboard radius and smaller, higher frets. The two single-coil pickups are offer a further modern touch with ceramic magnetic cores and a fat output with excellent definition and presence.

The Contemporary Jazz Bass: Past Meets Present

To dial the passive sound of this bass into perfect shape, each pickup has its own dedicated volume pot while a single tone pot control adds the finishing touch. The classic curves that form the high-gloss finished J-bass body are in all the right places while chrome-plated hardware including standard open tuners and a four-saddle bridge, ensure that this Squire Jazz is as stable and dependable as it is a pleasure to play.

Ha scritto quanto segue su Squier Contemporary Jazz Bass Dark Metallic Red

Dit was een beetje een impulsaankoop. Ik was een basversterker aan het uitzoeken maar liep naar buiten met versterker en de bas waarop ik de versterkers heb geprobeerd. Maar wat een fijne bas voor het geld. Warm, helder, speelt super makkelijk, fijne hals, van diep tot heldere knor. Wat krijg je als je het dubbele uitgeeft voor een 'echte' Fender Jazzbass? Het Fender logo op de kop. En een wat dieper, voller, consistenter geluid. Met name de dynamiek van de Squire is wat minder constant. Output is ook vrij laag. Ik heb ook een Yamaha BB1025X en als ik die inplug moet ik meteen de gain op m'n versterker halveren als daarvoor deze Squire in m'n versterker zat. Maar als je niet meer te besteden hebt dan zo'n 600,- en je wilt het Fender Jazzbass geluid. Dan is dit gewoon de beste optie. Ik heb ook een Sire V3 geprobeerd. Die is qua dynamiek beter. Maar ik vond 'm koud klinken. Beetje 'digitaal'. Met deze Squire had ik meteen de Fender klik. Misschien zet ik er nog eens andere elementen op. Topbasje en aanrader.
