The instruments of Gretsch's Roots collection introduce you to the world of American folk music. By combining the authentic Gretsch sound with highly roots-oriented instruments, the Roots collection provides you with powerful tools for bluegrass, country and folk music. This six-string G9126 guitar-ukulele is also ideal for unplugged settings and quiet pop music. Its nylon strings are tuned from A to A in standard guitar intervals over its 19 frets.

Gretsch G9126 guitar-ukulele: elaborate roots warmth

Fitted with six strings instead of the regular four, this elaborate ukulele allows for more intricate playing, offering a wider chord variety and more harmonic freedom. The quartersawn mahogany body of the G9126 is relatively large for uke standards and creates a warm, pleasant sound. The rosewood fingerboard and the C-shaped neck are easy to play and the Grover Sta-Tite tuners keep the guitar-ukulele nicely tuned. The beautiful position markers, shaped like snowflakes, provide the finishing touch to the overall great look of the instrument. The G9126 is supplied with a gig bag, so you can easily bring the guitar-ukulele with you to your gigs or camp fires.
