This moving head is chock full of interesting features. Razor-sharp light beams and quick chases are facilitated by the iB-5R, that is designed to respond quickly to your controls. The iB-5R is provided with an Osram Sirius 230W lamp, which produces a beam of light that can be adjusted between 1 and 3.8 degrees via a motorised zoom function. To create awesome fan effects, this lamp is equipped with an 8-faceted prism that rotates.

Infinity iB-5R: super-fast!

This unit is provided with sizeable motors to allow for quick motions. Special stepper motors with a high torque value ensure that the moving head responds quickly and accurately to your controls and allow it to create neat chases. The iB-5R is also equipped with a fast-responding gobo wheel with 17 metal gobos and a colour wheel with 14 different colours plus white. In order to allow for precise movements, the pan and tilt range can be decreased.

Operating the iB-5R

As we might expect of a modern moving head, this lamp is equipped with multiple modes: a DMX mode, music-controlled mode (master/slave) and a stand-alone mode (in which the iB-5R runs through a number of pre-programmed chases) are provided. The presence of a multicolour display ensures that setting this moving head up is a quick and easy thing to do.
