With a powerful 230W LED module at its heart, this moving head produces a wonderfully powerful light beam - the unit can produce up to 8,000 lumens with a peak intensity of no less than 160,000 cd! It has multiple gobo and colour wheels at its disposal, which together with the 3-faceted rotating prism allow for glorious effects. A long range means that the Expression 8000 Spot can also be used at large festivals. For safety reasons, you should keep a minimal distance of twelve metres between the Expression 8000 and other objects.

Showtec Expression 8000 Spot: effects

As was mentioned before, the Showtec Expression 8000 Spot features multiple gobo and colour wheels. The first gobo wheel allows for gobo rotation in both directions, while the second gobo wheel features static gobos. A bit of additional flair is added by the gobo flow effect, and two colour wheels provide you with extensive available colours. Combine as much as you like - that way you'll discover all the wonderful effects that the Expression 8000 Spot has to offer.

Controls

The Showtec Expression 8000 features extensive control options. A Master/Slave function is provided, and the unit can operate independently in its automatic mode. DMX control is also an option of course! You can use DMX in two settings - the simple one with 17 channels, and the extensive one with 23 channels. Wireless DMX technology can optionally be added to the Showtec Expression 8000 Spot for complete functionality.
