As you might have guessed, the Mesa Boogie Mini Rectifier Twenty-Five is a mini-version of the legend known as the Dual Rectifier. While mini, this amp head has shed none of the functions, fat tonality or quality and packs the same explosive punch as the Dual, even despite its ultra-compact, lunch-box-size. The Mini Rectifier has two channels with two modes and a switchable power from 10 to 25 Watts. This little amp head is not only big enough to take on home rehearsals or studio sessions but is also perfect for providing different tonal options on stage and comes complete with a footswitch and a gig bag fitted with a shoulder strap.

Mesa Boogie Mini Rectifier: Legendary Sound

The Mini Rectifier is both incredibly versatile and incredibly easy to operate. The two channels both have their own Gain, 3-band EQ, Presence and Master Volume controls. The first channel offers a Clean mode and Push mode designed to shape your crystal-cleans with generous headroom and then push them into a crunching, aggressive overdrive. Channel two delivers the legend that is the high-gain Rectifier sound and comes in two flavours: Vintage mode is beautifully warm, thick with organic distortion with classic-rock leanings while the Modern mode pushes the gain even further yet somehow manages to maintain the tight definition that metal playing demands.

Multi-Watt Final Stage and FX-Loop

Both channels of the Mini Rectifier can be switched between 10 and 25 Watts. 10 Watt mode is ideal for getting some overdrive out of the fitted EL84 power-amp tubes at lower volumes or just to give a distinctly different tone since it gives the amp a sweeter, more rounded sound. At 25 Watts, you get that characteristic Rectifier attack and tightness. Round the back, you'll find an FX-loop for jacking in your pedalboard or favourite processor and via the Hard Bypass pot, the serial effects loop can be removed from the signal as needed.
