The Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister Deluxe 20 is a 20-watt lunchbox amp head with two channels for clean and lead, both with a boost option. This makes it possible to switch between a clean crunch and the renowned rich, fatty Hughes & Kettner overdrive. Each channel has its own volume control as well. This Tubemeister Deluxe 20 is capable of going from serene ballads to ear-splitting shreds by using the PowerSoak function, which is especially handy for use at home.

This amp head allows you to adjust its wattage to match the space you're in, while still utilising its maximum tube potential. The Deluxe 20 delivers 1 watt, 5 watts, or a full 20 watts, which is a significant amount for this Hughes & Kettner, and features two 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84s in the power amp for that characteristic brown sound.

Tube Safety Control and cab-sim

This amp head is also equipped with TSC (Tube Safety Control) which enables the tubes to function optimally. A built-in Red Box DI balances the sound and transfers it to a mixer, for instance. The Deluxe 20 is ideal in the studio or at home, offering a variety of effects including a modern or vintage cabinet simulation, a small or large cabinet simulation, a direct line-out or a microphone-amplified sound.
