Great big ENGL sound in a teeny tiny, cute little portable amp: the ENGL E305 Gigmaster 30 Head. Just as more compact tube amps with lower power are gaining popularity, ENGL introduce their very own mini-styled Gigmaster Series. The E305 is a fully tube-driven top with two channels, an FX loop, built-in reverb and highly flexible functions to colour your sound. With 30 Watts of power, this little tyke is built for home rehearsals yet powerful enough to take to rehearsals and shows. The ENGL E305 Gigmaster 30 Head is the perfect and dependable playing buddy.
ENGL E305 Gigmaster 30 Head: A Broad Sonic Scale
Bathe in the warm, organic and incredibly dynamic tone that the ENGL Gigmaster 30 Head will invoke from your guitar. This top is driven by a ECC83 pre-amp tube and four EL84 power amp tubes. The two switchable channels (Clean and Lead) share an EQ section and Reverb and takes you from transparent and warm cleans to that typically tight and raw ENGL overdrive. The Gain Boost pushes the Clean channel over into a fat crunch and, when enabled on the Lead channel, throws everything into a ripping, high-gain distortion. The Mid Boost meanwhile, will pull your sound out of the mix and place it on top for clearly audible solos.
All functions via Remote Control
Each and every one of the functions laid out on the front panel can be controlled using the ENGL Z-4 footswitch (not included). Jack one into this head and switch between the channels, with a second pedal toggle the Gain Boost in and out and, by adding a third, activate the Mid Boost and Master Volume Boost. The Gigmaster 30 is also fitted with a number of speaker cabinet connection options: one or two 8 Ohm cabs or two 16 Ohm cabs can be connected with no fuss.
