Descrizione

Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith) and Duff McKagan (Guns n' Roses/Velvet Revolver) are just some of the famous names who play on a bass amplifier made by Gallien-Krueger. The American brand is one of the biggest names in the bass world thanks to their top-quality products and unique sound. The 700RB-II is a descendant of the legendary 800RB from 1983. It's equipped with a GK Horn Bi-Amp system which, when paired with a GK HBA cabinet, allows you to adjust the volume controls for the woofer (master) and tweeter separately. The 700RB-II is 2U high, weights just 8.16 kg and produces a mighty 480 watts of power.

Gallien Krueger 700RB-II: versatile tone control

This second generation of the 700RB has all you need to shape your ultimate bass sound. That includes a highly versatile and intuitive active 4-band EQ that allows you to boost or filter frequencies. In addition, there are also three voicing filters with a contour control for scooping the mids, presence for adding extra sparkle, and a special 4/5-string bass switch to adjust the voicing frequencies accordingly. The 700RB-II is suitable for passive or active basses thanks to the -14 dB pad switch.

Bi-Amp and DI output

To adjust the woofer and tweeter volume controls separately, you'll need to connect the amp head to a GK HBA cabinet using a 4-conductor SpeakOn cable. The internal digital crossover that makes this possible also ensures that the typical GK edge on the Gate Induced Valve Effect boost is only sent to the woofer. The Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II also has a tuner output with a mute function, an FX loop, a top-quality DI output with ground lift and a pre/post EQ switch.
