Fender Bassman 500 Head: more than traditional

Beneath the vintage-style look of the 500 Head lurk two channels that give you quite a bit more that traditional bass guitar amplifiers. There's the traditionally warm Fender tone from the Vintage channel, or the arsenal of sounds in the Overdrive channel in case you want to take a stroll down a rougher path. From a sea of gain to a subtle surf of edgy effects. The Bassman amp has a 7-layer construction of meranti, making it one of the more sturdy and durably constructed amplifiers around.

Equalizing, effects loop and XLR out

Both of the amp's channels have an EQ section that allows you to add depth to the low frequencies or definition to the higher ones via push-pull knobs. The push-pull function of the master operates a mute switch for silent tuning via the tuner out. Moreover, you can connect your favourite effect pedals via a mono effects loop, and there's also an XLR output with a level control and two switches for pre/post EQ. Should you be bothered by annoying sound from the main electricity outlet, then you can use the ground-lift switch to get rid of them.
