"Keys everywhere" is Alesis's creed for the Qmini, and they've hit it bang on. On the one hand, the Alesis Qmini is a compact, no-fuss USB/MIDI keyboard because it's outfitted with just 32 mini-keys. On the other, it's so straight-up because it only offers the bare essentials, which is great if you plan on taking it with you wherever you go. Idea for mobile producers, the bite-sized Qmini is not even 42cm long yet covers two-and-a-half octaves and comes complete with a show-stealing stack of software including  MPC Beats and a bunch of virtual instruments such as Vaccuum, BOOM, DV-33, Xpand!2 and Melodics. Looking at the price and what you get in return, you're looking at an absolute bargain here.
