A surdo is the foundation of samba music. With the SU20-L, Meinl delivers a 20-inch diameter aluminium surdo. This combined with the shell depth of 24 inches ensures a deep full sound. You can even set this surdo down thanks to the included legs. This offers you more comfort while playing and also provides additional playing options. For example, you can use this surdo as an extra deep sound in your drum kit or percussion set-up. Equipped with a synthetic percussion head for a durable surdo.
Meinl SU20-L: lightweight
Thanks to its aluminium shell, this surdo is extra lightweight. This allows you to easily take the surdo with you to all your gigs. Meinl has given the SU20-L a traditional look with specially recessed tension bolts. The legs have rubber protective feet for stable placement. A black coloured batter stands out beautifully against the aluminium shell, giving this surdo an extra attractive look.
