Descrizione

Most folks agree, a professional sound system is nothing without a subwoofer. Mackie thinks so too, which is why they developed this durable 18-inch subwoofer for their iP series. It can generate frequencies as low as 35 Hz and can augment a set of speakers beautifully. The iP-18S was engineered specifically for permanent installations. It has a durable wooden cabinet for powerful, effective audio projection, and it's equipped with an internal 115Hz low-pass filter so you don't have to apply any active filtering.

Mackie iP-18S: how low can you go

As mentioned above, this sub was designed especially for fixed installations and is perfect for high-performance purposes like theatres where consistent audio quality and inconspicuous speakers are essential. It can also be used in pubs and restaurants for the same reasons. The RMS output is 400 watts and it boasts a maximum SPL of 132 dB. Finally, it's easy to hook up using the wire terminals or SpeakOn connections.
