Especially in theatres, it's inconvenient when PA engineers have to sit at the sides of the stage because they cannot hear what they're doing with the sound over there. After all, a neat sound is crucial in those situations. This is why lighting and sound operators are often placed on a kind of island. The drawback, however, is that this requires many cables. Luckily, we have a solution.

This Omnitronic reel is nothing more and nothing less than 20 XLR cables that have been put together to form one large, thick cable. The end of the cable features a reel with 16 XLR connectors, making it incredibly easy to plug in mics and instruments directly on stage. Four outputs are used for the master signal and possible monitor speakers on stage.

All connectors have been coded, which isn't only convenient to tell them apart, but also comes in handy when there's a breakdown or flaw. Because the reel has a rugged, metal cage construction, it's perfect for mobile use.

Each internal cable is balanced, reducing the chance of interference and guaranteeing the perfect show.
