Introducing an even better version of the most popular portable speaker system in the world, Bose present the S1 Pro+. This wireless speaker system boasts the same smart design and acoustic performance as the original S1 Pro, yet is a little lighter and more intuitive to operate since the interface has been streamlined. In fact, the small army of controls has been replaced with a single multifunctional control and a small OLED display per channel and, depending on how the speaker is set up, the displays rotate along so you can always check the volume or the channel settings.

Make Music That Moves

What's also great is that the in-built mixer is now largely digital, meaning that while you get a physical volume control per channel, the internal DSP can be smoothly steered from the comfort of your smartphone using the free companion app. This app also includes Bose's ToneMatch engine which can be used to optimise the sound of any connected instrument or microphone at will. Meanwhile, any instruments and microphones - including Bose's new wireless transmitters - can be plugged in or hooked up wirelessly via the built-in bay receiver of the first and second channel.

Mix, Work & Play

In addition to bang-on sound and a smart design, the Bose S1 Pro+ comes with various welcome perks. For a start, guitarists will be happy to know that the matching wireless transmitters (not included) allow you to connect up your pedalboard and add ToneMatch effects in Insert Mode. At the same time, the XLR input doubles as a line input, meaning you're free to switch between your microphone and line signal, while a wireless XLR transmitter can be used to turn two Bose S1 Pro+ speakers into a True Wireless Stereo system. Last but not least, the S1 Pro+ can be connected to a computer and serve as an interface for live-streaming as well as recording to a DAW.
