The familiar sound of the dub siren has now been neatly wrapped up in a box and gifted to the world at large in the form of the Benidub DS01 Dub Siren synthesizer, giving you the same level of potential as it did back then, but backed up by the build-quality of right now. While kitted out with a tight and compact control panel, this tactile wee slab of a synth still hands you plenty of options to play around with the four waveforms with three base frequencies, and an LFO (since this is still a siren) with three speeds and a manual envelope generator. While definitely niche, this synth can be teamed up with external gear like reverb to great effect. A must-have for any self-respecting dub producer.
