Descrizione

Finished with stage-worthy magenta trim, the Behringer Edge synthesizer is a sort of percussive counterpart to the Crave that came out a few years ago. This synth-based upstart is one of Behringer's originals and is a fully analogue drum, bass and percussion specialist, setting users up with two oscillators (with hard-sync and FM), noise and a filter (LP and HP), while the top of the control panel has been reserved for two rows of patch gates, fully prepped for custom routing. All of this is piled on top of the beat-stacking potential of the 8-step pitch and velocity sequencer, and while the Edge is definitely a natural partner for the Crave, it can also be patched in and integrated into a Eurorack system.

Ha scritto quanto segue su Behringer Edge synthesizer

De Edge is Beheringer's percussie synth. Door middel van de on board sequencer krijg je er onmiddellijk geluid uit. En ik vind het een interessant geluid. Noisy, ruige drum/percussie geluiden is zijn geen probleem voor de Edge. En met wat geduld en toewijding kan je er ook melodieën uit krijgen. Het is wel een echte hands-on synthesizer die je moet bespelen. Dat wil zeggen, aan de knopjes draaien.

Pluspunten
Gaaf geluid.
Makkelijk te bedienen.
Bouw kwaliteit voel solide.

Minpunten.
Slechts een 8 stappen tellende sequencer.
Geen mult..
Melodieën die niet ontstemd klinken zijn een uitdaging.
