This AE 480 Buffed Bronze Cymbal Box set by Zildjian gives you the perfect blend between electronic and acoustic cymbals thanks to the revolutionary GEN16 cymbals. These cymbals produce 30 - 50% less volume than a regular cymbal and are easy to amplify thanks to the Direct Source pickups. You'll still feel like you're playing a regular set because these cymbals feel 100% acoustic. The hassle of setting up and being surrounded by microphones can now become a thing of the past, which both sound technicians as well as drummers are sure to appreciate. This set up also reduces factors that can tarnish the sound.

Direct Source

The Direct Source pickups process the signal at the source to keep each cymbal's sound isolated from the others. This means that you can edit the sound of each cymbal individually and give them their own effects, such as delay and reverb. It also means that you get a deeper, richer tone. If you're not pleased with the sound of your cymbal, then you can adjust everything using the DCP Access Tool that can be downloaded from the Zildjian website.
