The Line Base Single speaker set is part of HK Audio's renowned Elements series. This speaker system has a maximum power output of 2400 watts and has been designed to deliver far-reaching sound suitable for larger indoor and outdoor venues. The set consists of two E835 mid/high range speakers and one E110 SUB AS subwoofer. HK Audio uses the latest line array technology so that your audience is assured of a great sound no matter where they are in the crowd. The Line Base Single speaker set is completed by the EP1 speaker pole.
Line Base Single: quick and easy setup
Setting up the Elements sound system takes hardly any time at all. Apart from a power cable and a signal cable, you won't need anything else as Elements speakers can be connected together easily using a system known as E-connect. The E110 SUB AS woofer has two of these connectors. Should you want to add an extra passive subwoofer to the setup, however, you will need an extra cable. Putting the system together is simple too using the EP1 speaker pole to attach the E835 speakers on top of the subwoofer. That does away with the need for any extra speaker stands.
Elements: expandable
Another great feature of the Elements series is the fact that it is an expandable system. Simply add or remove components to suit your needs. That also makes this system extremely portable and mobile. You won't need any extra sound monitors either as the Elements series virtually eliminates feedback, which means you can even set the system up behind the sound source or band.

On the plus side, the setup is extremely neat and easy. The sound is okay (not amazing), but they are good value for money in this price range.
However, we have had two of the active subwoofers fail within a few months. The first failed to power up the first day we used it, and we had to arrange a replacement. The second failed within three months, and so we had to initiate the repair process. This is very inconvenient and frustrating when you rely on the speakers for weekly use.
My best guess is that there is an underlying fault or weakness in these speakers, and so I would be very hesitant to recommend the quality of HK Audio equipment.
