The Warbird is already the second signature offering from the Lamb of God drummer, Chris Adler. Building on the first incarnation, this Mapex-Adler collaboration features a few sweet upgrades, including a six-ply maple and walnut shell with a 5.5 inch depth and a unique 12 inch diameter that comes stamped with a custom engraving. In lower tunings, this snare fires off an intense and dark sound, and in higher tunings, packs masses of energy. This is also the first ever Black Panther snare to feature a newly-rounded SONIclear bearing edge, ensuring optimal shell-to-drumhead resonant transfer.

In terms of hardware, The Warbird boasts a set of Sonic Saver Hoops that, due to their special profile, reduce stick wear while improving rim shot response. The new staggered lug layout couples with the Black Panther cylinder-drive snare strainer to support a wide and stable tuning range, while the set of drumheads have been hand-selected by Adler himself to ensure fast and powerful sound. As a neat bonus, this snare comes including a signed photo booklet.
