The Marantz PMD-661 mkIII is the ideal tool for reporters, journalists and researchers. The audio quality is sublime and your data is safely stored with a password encryption method. The organic dot matrix LED display shows the relevant information clearly, which makes working with the PMD-661 easy and intuitive. Record in 96 kHz / 24-bit audio directly onto an SD or SDHC card of 32 GB and the built-in SD Card Check function makes sure the storage medium you want to use is compatible.

Accurate recording with internal and external microphones

The integrated stereo condenser microphone ensures a crystal-clear recording and there's a balanced mic/line input on the PMD-661 mkIII and two unbalanced line outputs, one RCA and one mini jack for headphones. As well as the internal microphone, there is an external omnidirectional boundary microphone included for recording meetings, for instance. Finally, you can record for up to six hours on a four full AA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries.
