The Showtec Expression 16000 Spot is an impressive LED moving head unit. On top of all the featured functions, it's fitted with a 360W LED module that produces 12,000 lumens with a peak intensity of 256,000 cd. An extensive range of effects and a mechanically adjustable iris and focus allow for wonderful projections. Furthermore, the Expression 16000 is powerful enough for use on large stages and at festivals. For safety reasons, you should ensure there's a minimum distance of twelve metres between the Expression 16000 Spot and other objects.

Showtec Expression 16000 Spot: control options

The Showtec Expression 16000 Spot's control options range from super simple to so extensive that you'll need a full-time light jockey to take care of your show. The automatic functions requires hardly any prompting - it simply lets the Expression go through pre-programmed fixtures. For a bit more scope you can use the Master/Slave mode, whereby multiple units work in synchronicity so needn't spend all night behind the lighting controller. DMX mode allows for full control, of course. It lets you use all separate functions over a slightly simpler 23-channel mode, or you can enjoy the full 29 channels.

ArtNet

When constructing the Expression 16000 Spot, Showtec fitted the unit with a date in/out connector, which allows you to operate it via ArtNet. This means that you can easily compose much larger shows without being limited by your lighting controller. All in all, the Showtec Expression 16000 Spot is an excellent addition to your assortment of lighting gear.
