The speaker is powered by eight AA batteries, or via the accessory power adapter. You can easily switch between mono and stereo sound.

If you place the BA-55 in an upright position, it provides a powerful mono reproduction which is great during a speech. Place the speaker in a horizontal position and your audio is reproduced in a clear stereo fashion. You can easily connect an MP3 or CD player for a healthy dose of background music.

Wireless microphone included
The Roland BA-55 is supplied with an accurate wireless microphone, enabling you to make yourself heard. The system can be expanded with an additional Roland DR-WM55 wireless microphone.
