Descrizione
The Mach 3 cajon is part of Pearl's Sonic Boom series of cajons, and its most remarkable feature is the fact that it has three separate playing surfaces that simulate a bass drum, snare drum and tom. These surfaces have even been kept separate on the inside of the cajon, as each has its own sound chamber and sound port to prevent cross-talk. The bass chamber has an extra sound port to give the lows an extra boost.
Birch
Both this cajon's body and front plate are made of 100% birch, and the front plate is slightly angled, so that you don't have to hunch over as much to play it. Thanks to its separated sound chambers, this American-made beauty is suited for both small acoustic settings and larger-scale, amplified performances.
