This set of M-Audio BX5 D2 monitors really offers you value for your money. To ensure an even better audio experience, a set of Devine Mon Pad monitor isolation pads is included. The M-Audio monitors have a design that reduces distortion to a minimum, featuring rounded corners and a large bass port at the back. To benefit from the full potential of your BX5 D2 monitors, it is important to acoustically shield them in order to eliminate unwanted vibrations. To that end, a set of Devine Mon Pad isolation pads has been included.

M-Audio BX5 D2 DJ monitor

The BX5 D2 monitors are equipped with 5-inch, woven Kevlar woofers and 1-inch silk-dome tweeters that are driven by 40 and 30 watts of power respectively. This internal bi-amp technology makes the BX5 D2s highly efficient, as each driver takes care of the proper frequencies. The use of Kevlar makes the woofers strong but light of weight and ensures a quick response that keeps the low-end of the monitors tight and punchy. The monitors can be connected to your (DJ) mixer or controller by means of a balanced XLR connector, or alternatively with a 6.35mm jack cable. The rear of the BX5 D2s is equipped with a volume knob that enables you to limit and control the maximum output.

To ensure an optimal sound that is not tainted by unwanted resonance, it is best to place your studio monitors on acoustic isolation pads. They'll prevent vibrations from reaching your studio desk or your computer screen. The included set of Devine isolation pads offers excellent isolation and even offers you the option of tilting your monitors at a slight angle, allowing you to alter the sweet spot of your BX5 D2s. This set of Mon Pads provides you with everything you need to isolate two medium-size speakers and to position them at an upward angle.

J'ai acheté ces blocs de mousse pour découpler des enceintes surround Atmos déposées sur des meubles ou des étagères, pour éviter que des vibrations soient communiquées à ces derniers. Cela remplace avantageusement les petits pieds en caoutchouc habituels, et permet aussi certains réglages d'inclinaison optimale. L'enceinte est mieux stabilisée et risque moins des déplacements indésirés !
Jusqu'à présent ( seulement quelques jours d'utilisation ), aucune remarque négative à formuler, cela fait le job comme on dit, mais il faut avouer que vu le type d'enceinte ( surround en milieu domestique ), la sollicitation des haut-parleurs n'est pas énorme !
Mais par contre, l'utilisation de ces blocs de mousse sur un pied, comme illustré en photo, ne m'inspire pas confiance.
J'espère que la matière résistera un temps raisonnable ( quelques années ! ) sans perdre ses caractéristiques ... les mousses alvéolées du type polyuréthane n'ont pas toujours une bonne réputation ... souvent justifiée !

Fantastisch product. Voor deze lage prijs is het zeker een aanrader. Mijn KRK RP7G4 passen er perfect op, en met de verschillende steunpads kun je ze in elke hoek neerzetten hoe je wilt, of ze nou omhoog of omlaag moeten wijzen! Voor het lage bedrag is het zeker een aanrader als instapmodel, zeker als je niet al te grote monitoren gebruikt. Al met al een top product, en de buren zijn er vast ook blij mee.

Ik gebruik deze bij de Kali LP 6 speakers en ervaar geen trillingen op mijn bureau. Daarnaast vind ik het heel handig dat je de set zo kan opstellen dat deze naar je wens op de juiste hoogte kan opstellen (schuine en rechte kanten). Bovendien leuk geprijsd voor de kwaliteit!
