Ibanez and Korg have joined forces and developed a guitar that is ready for the future. Its name? The Ibanez RGPKP6 with integrated Korg Mini Kaoss pad 2S. The Korg Kaoss pad was already a favourite tool among DJs, but now guitarists have discovered this handy gadget as well. Don't let its small size fool you as the Korg Mini Kaoss Pad 2S is, in fact, a very elaborate effects processor. Its 100 effects give you an amazing number of possibilities: various filters, modulation effects, delays, reverbs, loopers, vocoders and even synthesizers. Thanks to the unique collaboration between Ibanez and Korg, you can now even use it whilst playing guitar!
User-friendly
Quick and easy effect control has always been the trump card of the Korg Kaoss family. Anyone can use this device and when it’s connected to a guitar, the possibilities are almost endless. In addition to the 100 built-in effects you can also use drum loops that you've made yourself. Another very useful function for guitarists is the BPM detection. Fans of the British rock band Muse will know what this little gadget is capable of. With the Ibanez RGKP6 you will experience a whole new world.

The Ibanez RGKP6 might not be the first guitar with an integrated Kaoss Pad, but it surely is the first one that is accessible to the general public! As you can expect from Ibanez, this guitar has a comfortably slender neck: the famous Wizzard III neck made of solid maple. The rosewood fretboard features 24 jumbo frets and the mahogany body provides a warm tone and lots of sustain. With a fixed bridge and only one pickup, this guitar might look a bit basic for an Ibanez. However, nothing could be further from the truth as the guitar features an integrated distortion circuit. Together with the integrated Kaoss Pad, it will release ultimate chaos!
