With the RGIX20FESM-FSK Ibanez combine 'beauty' and 'the beast' in a single instrument. The famous RG body shape has a stylish Foggy Black burst finish around the edges that contrasts beautifully with the finely grained maple top. Construction
The beautiful maple top is not just for show. It provides an extra dimension to the balanced sound of the lightweight basswood body. Extra warmth is added to the overall tone by the rosewood fretboard on the 3-ply 24-fret neck. Sound is picked up by an EMG60 at the neck and an EMG81 at the bridge. These active pickups are a classic and popular combination used primarily in heavier types of music. The Ibanez Standard II bridge makes the guitar ideal for lower tunings and tight riffs.
