The FX Edge III-8 bridge allows you to play for hours on end without detuning any of the strings.
Active pickups
The RG2228 is equipped with active EMG pickups, especially developed for 8-string guitars. These pickups also generate a high output signal at a low volume so that you'll always have a great-sounding distortion no matter how short, soft or fast your play a note. In order to keep your notes as pure as possible, the FX Edge III-8 bridge firmly holds them in place and makes sure that the strings are always perfectly tuned, even when one breaks!
