Gretsch guitars generally tend to grab your attention, and that is no different with the G5422TDC. Its style is typically Gretsch - exuberant and out of the ordinary, yet extremely classy. Two Filtertone pickups, a double cutaway hollow body with set-in neck and a Bigsby licensed B-6 tremelo are the things that make 'that great Gretsch sound' so great! Naturally, this limited edition in Cadillac Green is equipped with the typical Gretsch elements like hump block position markers and the Classic G tone controls.

Construction

The double cutaway body features two gorgeous F-holes and is made out of 5-ply laminated maple. Inside, the body is reinforced to prevent feedback. The neck, also made of maple, has a 22-fret rosewood fretboard. When it comes to electronics, the G5422TDC has three volume controls, one for each pickup as well as a master volume. It also has a master tone control and a 3-way pickup switch. Two Filtertron pickups are what give you that unmistakable Gretsch sound and the Bigsby licensed tremelo unit completes the package. The vintage-style open tuning mechanisms keep this top-notch instrument in key.

Limited Edition

Normally, the G5422TDC is only available in three different versions, namely: black, walnut and transparent red. All three are gorgeous guitars, but this particular model in Cadillac Green is a limited edition and stands out significantly from the rest. It's available in a limited number; in fact, only 75 will be available in Europe!
