Descrizione

The Fender Mando-Strat (3-Colour Sunburst) is the 4-string electric mandolin from the '50s and '60s revisited. It has a body and headstock in Stratocaster style and an elegant tortoise pickguard. The body is made of alder for a deep and balanced base tone and the instrument is amplified by the built-in single-coil Fender pickup.

The classic Mando-Strat

You'll find two octaves of frets, fitted to the dark rosewood fretboard, and a blank maple neck and vintage-style machine heads. The classic chrome bridge was made on the same machine that was used to fabricate the original components half a century ago. A sparkling addition to stage and studio!

Ha scritto quanto segue su Fender Mando-Strat

Heb deze mandoline nu een jaar of 3. Ben er nog steeds super blij mee. Speelt heerlijk door de 4 snaartjes ipv. 8, Fijne nek, helder elementje en nog een aardig gewicht.En telkens weer trek je de aandacht bij het publiek. Ik ben zelf mandoline/tenor banjo speler, en het is erg leuk om acoustisch eens af te wisselen met elektrisch. Uiteindelijk ben ik ook begonnen aan wat meer experimentele projectjes. Dat is ook waar dit instrument naar mijn idee voor bedoeld is. Een aanrader! Zeker voor het prijsje. Enige minpunt. Er had best een gigbag bij gemogen. Is nog verdomd lastig om hiervoor iets te vinden.
