The Fender FWG 2020 is a professional wireless guitar system with an amazing sound quality. In addition to a low level of noise, this system has an exceptionally broad frequency range that goes from 35 Hz to 20 kHz so that it is also suitable for low-frequency instruments like bass guitars for instance. The Fender FWG 2020 is available for several frequency bands. With this version, the transmitter and receiver mutually communicate via Band 1, ranging from 650 to 680 MHz.

FWG 2020: the receiver

Fender's wireless guitar system consists of a compact beltpack transmitter and a receiver. The SR2020 receiver is half a (19-inch) rack wide and has a fully metal housing. On the back, it features both a balanced and an unbalanced output. Its large, very legible LCD display shows you all the essential information like RF levels, audio signal, the frequency and the channel. At volume peaks, a low battery or loss of signal, the display changes colour.

The transmitter

The PT2020 beltpack transmitter is very compact and can operate for a massive 14 hours on a single AA battery. The transmitter too shows you channel, status and signal information on its LCD. This analogue wireless system was developed in collaboration with AKG, a renowned brand that has been on the forefront of high-quality wireless systems for many years.
