This electro-acoustic folk western guitar combines the looks and specifications of the Fender Redondo with the body size of the Fender Malibu SCE. This Mustang 50th Anniversary electro-acoustic folk western guitar has a compact dreadnought-style body and a comfortable Stratocaster-type neck. The FSR Malibu CE Mustang is part of Fender's California series and has that characteristic '60s surf look. This guitar has a cutaway, that makes it easier to reach the highest frets, as well as a built-in Fishman pickup system. This Candy Apple Red version of the Malibu Mustang is only available in a very limited number!

Features of the Fender FSR Malibu CE Mustang Candy Apple Red

The smaller dreadnought body of the FSR Malibu CE is made of laminated mahogany with a laminated spruce top. The Malibu CE has a maple neck, just like a Stratocaster, and a 20-fret rosewood fretboard. This combination of wood types guarantees a rich sound with punchy trebles. The neck of the Fender Malibu CE Mustang has a comfortable C profile that gives it almost the same feel as an electric guitar. Additionally, it features a second, factory-mounted strap button on the side of the body, above the neck. This allows you to play standing up.

Finish and Fishman Electronics

This FSR Malibu CE Mustang is adorned with a white pearloid pickguard and Fender's vintage-style Viking bridge. and its sound hole is decorated with a beautiful chequered rosette. To improve tone and tuning stability, the string nut and bridge saddle are made of Graphtech NuBone. The Candy Apple Red FSR Malibu CE Mustang's Fishman Isys III pickup system comprises an active preamp with volume control and 3-band equalizer to create that perfect sound. Finally, the guitar's practical built-in chromatic tuner helps you to keep it perfectly tuned.
