Owning a Fender FSR series guitar is a justified reason to feel privileged. These Factory Special Run editions are always very rare and notably different from standard-series guitars. This Fender FSR American Standard Stratocaster is no different. Its most striking feature is its Shell Pink '50s colour scheme that commemorates the time of huge Cadillacs and American fashion tints. The colour might be somewhat divergent, but the rest of the American Strat features the familiar phenomenal Fender build-quality.

FSR American Standard Strat: characteristics

True to form, this solid body was made of alder and has a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and white position markers. Naturally, this guitar is equipped with a vintage-style tremolo bridge. Its pickup configuration consists of Custom Shop Fat '50's single coils that full of vintage vibes and tonal character. The Aged White components fully complete the retro look.

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent, US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
