The Encore 2000 is actually a cross between the Encore 1000 and Versadeck; it's a MIDI controller, CD player, media player and mixer all in one compact device! It makes it possible to easily mix your CDs with tracks from your laptop, and play some requests in between with a USB stick.

The most important thing about the Encore 2000 is the ability it gives you to quickly switch power sources per deck. If you're playing a set on your laptop with the MIDI mode, for instance, then you can plug a USB stick into the other port and bring a new track from that source into the mix. portable, robuust, solide.
Werkt hier met Dance-Elec pen (2 decks op 1) .... of Sony pen.. (bij sony kan je niet 2 decks via 1 pen aansturen dat is dan weer het nadeel van sony, dus heb je er 2 nodig)
! transcend usbwerkt hier helemaal niet op ....
Dus een hoop geexperimenteer met USB pennen.
Komt met 2 gebalanceerde XLR uitgangen... dat is een dikke plus
De decks ingebouwde drives hebben die er uit komen rollen ... net als bij een computer cd speler... beetje fragiel dus.
Soms wordt de bpm niet meer weergeven en moet je of het apparaat herstarten of de bpm handmatig tellen via de bpm counter knop... dit neem ik maar op de koop toe want is niet zo erg. Een bpm counter is nooit helemaal 100% het blijft software die maar wat gist.
Je hebt natuurlijk je oren hard nodig, wat je ook voor apparatuur gebruikt.
het apparaat heeft GEEN effecten, enkel scratch
En zo zijn er natuurlijk ook een hoop dingen die wel fijn zijn zoals het mixen en de feeling.
En dat zijn toch wel de belangrijkste punten!!!! Een plaatje gelijk zetten doe je in een paar tellen.
Al om al ben ik er zeer tevreden over, zeker als je kijkt naar de prijs.
En de nadelen wegen niet op tegen de voordelen.

Het enigste nadeel is dat bij mij althans de opname functie van virtual dj niet goed werkt. als ik namelijk de overgang van het ene deck naar het andere deck wil maken moet het ene nummer op pauze zetten namelijk. Dus als je de schuif toezet dan hoor je nadien dat bij je opnames dat nummer nog steeds aan het draaien is. Je moet dus telkens op de juiste moment dat nummer zachter zetten + op de pauzeknop duwen zodat het niet meer te horen is bij de opname nadien. Voor de rest ben ik zeer tevreden!
en de service was perfect! op 1 dag bestelt, de volgende dag was hij al in huis!!
