With the Tube Ultragain Mic500USB, Behringer has managed to combine a warm, old-fashioned tube sound with modern digital technology. Do you want to make simple recordings with a single microphone or Hi-Z instrument? Do you want more tonal possibilities than the clean inputs found on an average audio interface? The Tube Ultragain MIC500USB is a single-channel audio interface with a 12AX7 tube that offers 16 preamp voicings.

Features of the Tube Ultragain MIC500USB

You can connect three types of audio sources to the Tube Ultragain MIC500USB: a Hi-Z instrument like an electric guitar or bass, a stereo line signal like keyboards, and a microphone. There is even a 48V phantom power switch for condenser mics. Using the Preamp Mode rotary knob, you can choose between 16 preamp voicings that have been designed for specific instruments, but don't let that stop you from experimenting! For extra flexibility, there's a -20 dB pad, a low-cut and a phase inverter switch as well.

To prevent latency, you can send the incoming signal right through to the headphone output by pushing the Direct Monitor button. You don't need to install any drivers for this audio interface to function. A DAW is required, however, but Behringer has got you covered, as they've generously included all the software you need including the well-known Tracktion DAW software!

Ondanks de slechte recensies de Behringer toch aangeschaft, omdat het wel precies was wat ik zocht. Ik gebruik een T.C. Helicon Play acoustic. Prachtige zangeffecten, maar ik was niet happy met de geluidsmogelijkheden voor een akoestische gitaar. De Behringer biedt door 48v phantom de mogelijkheid om een condensatormicrofoon op de Helicon gitaaringang aan te sluiten. Het gitaargeluid is nu in een woord verbluffend! Heel blij met de aanschaf en van ruis is absoluut geen sprake.

Heb het ding om deze reden ook maar meteen retour gestuurd.

Helaas spijt van de aankoop van dit apparaat vooral met aanzetten van het stroom die tik die dat geeft verder het pakket wat er bij zit is wel grandioos heb ook niet geluisterd naar de bax mensen om een focusrite of een presonus te kopen heb deze weer in de doos teruggedaan ga hem weer gebruiken als ik iets kan vinden om de stroom piek op te vangen en heb toch maar een focusrite gekocht en ben ook iemand die te veel koopt om een opname van mijn gitaar te maken maar dat lukt nu met de focusrite solo en bax had gelijk die hoort bij dit verhaal en werkt boven verwachting .
